We provide a variety of specialty Occupational Therapy services to the Perth metropolitan region and surrounding rural areas. Our services are divided into five specialty areas and are designed to enhance a person’s safety & independence, helping the person to keep an active lifestyle. We support people with disability and other health related changes of all ages and needs, in their homes and in the community. We are registered providers for a number of State and National Healthcare programs and provide services to individuals, groups and communities at large.

We are registered to provide services for:

  • the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIS provider)
  • the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
  • the Insurance Commission of WA (ICWA) 
  • WorkCover WA & other insurance providers
  • Medicare Chronic Disease Management (EPC) 
  • Private healthcare providers

as well as other financial assistance programs & grants.

Functional Capacity Assessment

Comprehensive functional capacity assessments are provided to identify and document funding needs for NDIS plans or other schemes. DVA Services

Modification and Equipment Prescription

Services are provided under the DVA Rehabilitation and Appliances Program (RAP) to prescribe basic and complex equipment, provide rehabilitation, training and small aids for home and community requirements. These include assistive aids, personal hygiene aids, therapeutic aids, home modifications and falls prevention products. Rehabilitation services may focus on self care retraining, falls prevention, neurological rehabilitation or building improved performance in other activities. Home Care Packages Program - My Aged Care (MAC)

Supports older people with complex care needs to live independently in their own homes

All Home Care Package Program Levels are available in the City of Stirling area. Level 1 provides funding for basic care needs, such as housework help, assistance with personal care tasks like showering and getting dressed, and transport around the community. It may also cover basic home modifications to help you stay safe and mobile in your own home.

Level 2 is a higher level of support compared to the first level, and includes services such as medication management, meal preparation, and therapies such as podiatry, physiotherapy, speech therapy, or occupational therapy. It may also include respite care so your loved ones and family carers can take a break from their caring duties.

Level 3 is a higher level of support that includes comprehensive care, such as nursing services (e.g. wound care, care for medical conditions such as diabetes) and support for people living with dementia. It may also cover additional services such as home modifications, assistive technology, independent living aids, and higher levels of respite care.

Level 4 is the top level of care available under the Home Care Packages program, this provides support for people who have high care needs. It may include services such as 24-hour care, palliative care, behavioural management, nursing care, and more intensive support for complex health conditions. Bita Farahani

Senior Occupational Therapist (Perth & Telehealth servicing Australia-wide)

Bita has worked in mental health for over 15 years in disability, community mental health and aged care clinical services. She is a Registered member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Occupational Therapy Australia (OTAUS) and the International Society for Neuroregulation & Research (ISNR). Bita has worked with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds who have been diagnosed (or undiagnosed) with Autism (DSM Diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder - ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) and those who struggle with the impact of stress and anxiety on cognitive functioning such as sleep and working memory. She works individually with clients and offers support mechanisms within group-based therapy programs at Brain Training Australias Perth clinic. Bita’s considerate and perceptive nature and warm and genuine care make children and families feel at ease. Fees

As a Registered Occupational Therapy Services provider, we offer a range of funding options, including NDIS, DVA, Medicare and Private Health.  Just drop us a message if you are unsure of how to get started with us, we are happy to help. 

NDIS and DVA clients attending Gold Card, do not have any out of pocket expense. Clients attending with a GP Referral for a Mental Health Care Plan or a GP Management Plan can claim a partial rebate from Medicare. Clients attending using Private Health do not require a GP referral and can also claim a partial rebate from their private health fund (depending on their level of cover).
